NC State Wolfpack Football – Catch the Excitement!
With scheduled home games this year from the likes of Florida State, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech and Boston College, the Wolfpack offers their fans quality opponents with the potential of great wins. Coach Tom O'Brien, formerly of Boston College, still early in his career with NC State feels that his team has enough weapons on both sides of the ball to produce a winning season and a bowl game. Coach O'Brien had success with BC so his view, even though partial, is backed up from his previous coaching stint. From their recent past of great players at NC State such as Mario Williams, Philip Rivers, Manny Lawson, John McCargo, Demarcus "Tank" Tyler, Torrie Holt, to the players today on the roster NC State has been on the cusp of a winning program. So close is a theme, under coach O'Brien they should make great progress in securing a winning season if not this year, very soon. Last year they came so close with heartbreaking loses to quality teams such as 7-3 to South Carolina, another tough loss late at Florida State a high scoring affair 45-42, but they did salvage a win over their rival North Carolina Tarheels in a close game 28-27, with the excitement of looking forward to the 2010 season. College football is always exciting, from the introduction of the new schedule, the new recruits, spring practice, seeing the potential of those players coming in, plus the maturity of those already on the team to the start of summer practice right before the start of the season, college football you can just smell it in the air when the seasons change. Going to a game with your kids, grandkids and especially those who love to tailgate, one of the greatest traditions is gathering everyone around family, friends, fellow fans, even the opponent for some great food and fun from all the tailgaters. เว็บคาสิโนออนไลน์ With quarterback Russell Wilson coming back in his junior year with the successful season he had last year, passing for over 3000 yards, almost a 60 percent completion percentage and a passer rating of close to 150 and 30 plus td passes, NC State is in very good capable hands from their quarterback. His number one receiver Jarvis Williams is returning, with an impressive 45 catches and 11 touchdowns in the 2009 season. For the fans of NC State, a junior quarterback experienced with a senior receiver could mean a winning football season. So with coach O'Brien at the helm with such capable players it is looking good for the NC State Wolfpack as they get ready to start their 2010 campaign at home Sept 4 against Western Carolina.
